About Amarillo Senior Softball Club
The purpose of the club is to provide men in the Amarillo area 49 years and older the opportunity to have some fun and fellowship playing slow pitch softball in organized league play. We play on Tuesday evenings in the summer with a season ending tournament play on Tuesday evenings in September.

Saturday Practices
Optional league practices will take place every Saturday, beginning March 7, 2026 and continuing throughout the season. Location: El Alamo (1621 S. Houston St.) from 10:00-11:30 until the parking lot is finished at Southwest #5. Feel free to come out and sharpen your skills!
New Players to the League
If you have never played in our league, you will need to attend one of the tryouts prior to the draft. Tryouts will be held on the following dates. You only need to show up for one of these tryouts.
Saturday, March 14th @ 10:00am at El Alamo
Saturday, March 21st @ 10:00am at El Alamo
Sunday, March 22nd @ 1:00pm at El Alamo
Tryouts consist of taking a few ground balls, fly balls and a few swings at the plate. There will be time before tryouts start to get yourself loose. New players who register and do not attend a tryout will be randomly drawn for placement on a team. League practice will follow the tryouts.
Draft
The Draft will be held on March 24th @ 6:00pm. Location TBD. Once the draft is complete, the coaches will reach out to the team they drafted and let you know who you are playing with.
Scrimmage Dates:
We will have use of the Southwest Complex on 3/31 and 4/7 for teams that want to scrimmage. Coaches can communicate with each other and schedule a time slot on a first come first serve basis.
League Play
League competition will begin April 14, 2026 at Southwest Park Complex, 4800 S Bell St. Amarillo, TX 79109, through August 25, 2026. End of season tournament will be Tuesday nights through September.
You can see all team rosters and schedules by navigating to the "Teams" icon at the left of this page. Once at the "Teams" page, click on any team to see its roster of players and their schedule. Simply click on "Team Page" at the top right of that page. When viewing your team's schedule, you have the ability to click on individual games to notify your coaches whether you are available for that game. For each game you can click "in" or "out" to let your team know whether or not you will be there. You are highly encouraged to utilize this option, as it makes your coach's life much easier!
